RAYC becomes a

RYA Recognised Training Centre

November 2011

The Royal Anglesey Yacht Club has announced that is it has passed the RYA inspections and is now an RYA Recognised Training Centre.  The club is now able to offer members the RYA accredited Power Boat 1 and 2 training course.  Holding PB 1 and 2 will not only be useful for anyone wishing to operate motor craft on the water safely but it will also lower insurance premiums and enable holders of the certificate to easily rent and operate power boats both at home and abroad.

The Commodore of the Royal Anglesey Yacht Club Mr Dick Tudor said: "The decision to apply for RTC status was born out of a desire to offer club members some extra benefits.  It is a fantastic development for our club and we already have lots of members lined up for the training when we start back in the spring."

For further information on the course content please see the RYA web site and for any other information please contact the Vice Commodore Stevie Scanlan: steviescanlan@aol.com.

Costs of training and training dates will be circulated shortly.
