Welcome to the historic Royal Anglesey Yacht Club. Based in the beautiful town of Beaumaris overlooking the Menai Strait and mountains of Snowdonia on the North Wales Coast. Our family friendly yacht club has been in existence since 1885 when Queen Victoria granted the Royal Warrant.
The club's ensign is the blue ensign of Her Majesty's fleet with a crown in the centre of the union - the burgee is blue with the red dragon inset.
We race a number of different class boats, namely the Fife One Design, and the Menai Strait One Design which are unique to the club. The National Squib, Mirror Dinghy, Laser, Optimist day racers and Off shores are also raced. We have a very strong children's cadet fleet with experienced instructors and a busy non sailing social schedule.
We always welcome new members, sailing or otherwise, applications for membership can be made directly to the Commodore, Mr Mike Butterfield via email or telephone 01248 810300 /
07973 228636.
The club boasts fantastic views of the mountains and sea and has a function suite that is available for private hire for members and non-members.
Flag Officers:
